Why book a hotel in Città Studi, Milano?
What makes Città Studi so special as an area of Milan? Città Studi is one of the friendliest and still budget-friendly areas of Milan. Mostly residential with beautiful 19th-century buildings, but full of students and life due to the Politecnico Leonardo University campus that is the heart of the area.
Città Studi was not perfectly well connected with the rest of the city. That changed in 2023 when the new blue metro line opened and now you can travel to Duomo or Linate within 10 minutes!
I would recommend Città Studi for anyone looking for a safe area and traveling from either Milano Linate Airport or from Milano Centrale train station (green metro Piola takes you there in 10 minutes).
Hint: If you are visiting Milan in April, I would highly recommend you book in this area. For Design Week and Fuorisalone, Città Studi is usually part of enormous design installations that attract many tourists, but also fashion experts and VIPs.

How much does a night at a hotel in Città Studi cost?
As far as hotels are concerned, a luxury stay in Città Studi will cost you almost half the price of a luxury stay in Milano Centrale! Imagine all the budget you have left to spend on tasting Italian food.
Price-wise, the sooner you book the better deal you get. Luxury stays in Città Studi come at around 200eur per night, whereas for a 3 or 4-star hotel or a B&B expect to pay around 120eur or even less.
