TOP 5 SWIMMING POOLS IN MILAN

If you live in Milan or are visiting Milan just for a couple of days, here is your favourite list of top 5 swimming pools in Milan.

1. BAGNI MISTERIOSI

Address: Via Carlo Botta 18

Entrance fee: daily entrance fee 14€ (half day entrance 8€)

Not only is Bagni Misteriosi the nicest-looking pool far around, but it’s also a cute aperitivo place with a neat lounge bar and a popular spot for evening events. Located in Porta Romana, Bagni Misteriosi comes fully alive in early June and is open until late September. You can find the full list of tickets and events this summer on Bagni Misteriosi’s official website.

2. QC TERME MILANO

Address: Piazzale Medaglie D’Oro, 2

Entrance fee: 74€ daily entrance for the spa (5h entrance 68€); massages extra at 50€ per person

QC Terme Milano is part of the QC Terme wellness centers. The terme offers the ultimate city relaxation experience with a combination of swimming pools, saunas, relaxation rooms, and a full buffet area for lunch or aperitivo with a pool view.

QC Terme Milano provides a high-level service, therefore you pay for what you get. It’s not the cheapest to go to every day (if you wish to stay on a budget), but a nice relaxing spot to visit every now and then.

Tips: if you’re a couple ask for a couples’ discount. Absolutely go visit the famous rain room.

3. MILANOSPORT - PISCINA ROMANO

Address: Via Giuseppe Zanoia 2

Entrance fee: daily tickets at 8€ on weekdays, 9€ on weekends

Milanosport is another chain of public swimming pools – this time on a budget. There are Milanosport public pools spread everywhere throughout the city with entrance fees as low as 7€ for the day. Piscina Romano is particularly special with its vast swimming pool and plenty of areas for relaxation. You will find Piscina Romano in the Città Studi area, right by one of top Milanese Universities – Politecnico di Milano.

4. ASSAGO BEACH FORUM

Address: AreaMultisport 6, Via Giuseppe di Vittorio, Assago

Entrance fee: daily tickets 12€

Next up on the list of best pools in Milan is in reality slightly outside Milan – in Assago. Assago Beach Forum features an Olympic-style pool surrounded by lots of green areas to relax. You can reach it by the green metro line (direction Assago – Milanofiori Forum), but be careful as the stop is outside the Mi1-Mi2 metro zone.

To understand what I am talking about (and not get on the wrong metro), read my blog post on how to navigate public transport in Milan.

5. CANEVA AQUAPARK (LAGO DI GARDA)

And if you’re looking for a swimming pool or a water park, appropriate for a daily trip outside Milan, I recommend driving up to Lake Garda (or taking the train) to visit Caneva Aquapark. Whilst there, why not also stop at Gardaland for a day of fun?
